Development in Tear Film Osmolarity Assessments: A Review

The aim of this article is to review the development in assessment tear film with osmolarity techniques. Also, find out average score for normal and keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) patients based on published work.
 use techniques has been started about 50 years ago. Over last a number researchers have investigated human osmolarity. two procedures. first procedure which old, that involves detection freezing point depression vapour pressure. second one more advance known as electronic method, electrical impedance technique.
 All used assess are good, accurate, reliable provide comparable data. Based work reviewed article, subjects 303.2 ± 7.0 compared 322.7 15.9 KCS.
